Alexander Henry .360BPE Miniature Action Rifle. This cartridge is nearly the equivalent of 38-55 Winchester, it is fitted with 25” round bbl mounting sweated-on shaped bases for one standing, one folding leaf rear sight, and silver bead front. The rear sight has inlaid triangle of ivory for enhanced visibility during low light conditions. The tiny casehardened dropping block action is marked patent us no. 1281 on the flattened portion at the top of receiver ring. Action and lock are engraved with very fine cut medium scroll with “ALEXr HENRY” in scrolled riband on lockplate. Dark, streaked, and nicely stump figured European walnut full horn capped pistol grip buttstock measuring 14-1/2” with checkered wood butt that has engraved case hardened steel heel and toe plates. DaH: Approx 2-1/2”, DaC: Approx 1-3/4”.
